The Tahoe is Chevrolet’s full-size SUV that was completely redesigned for 2007 with new exterior styling, sharper driving feel, more power, improved fuel economy, increased interior refinement and improved interior quietness. The 2007 Tahoe received a new, fully-boxed frame, wider front and rear tracks, coil-over-shock front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering and a new, premium interior. Noise-reducing components and materials are used throughout the body structure, including the headliner, door seals and dash area. New features for 2007 included power-release fold-and-tumble second-row seat, remote start system, first- and second-row heated seats, ultrasonic rear parking assist, rearview camera system, touch-screen navigation system, power-articulating running boards and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system with a larger 8-inch screen. All Chevrolet Tahoes come standard with the OnStar advanced communication system.
The 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe adds a USB connection in the center console to play stored audio files through the audio system and for charging some hand-held devices. The 1LT package now includes tri-zone climate control, Bose premium nine-speaker audio system, power-adjustable pedals, remote start, ultrasonic rear parking assist and heavy-duty locking rear differential. The Interior Plus package adds Bluetooth capability, tri-zone climate control, front bucket seats with premium cloth, rear audio system controls and Universal Home Remote, and the Exterior Plus package adds front fog lights and luggage rack cross bars. A single-speed transfer case is now standard with 4-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case is optional. Taupe Gray Metallic and Sheer Silver Metallic are new exterior colors.
Chevy Tahoe Hybrid
The Tahoe Hybrid is the hybrid version of Chevrolet’s full-size SUV that joined the lineup for 2008. The Tahoe was redesigned for 2007 with new exterior styling, sharper driving feel, more power, improved fuel economy, increased interior refinement and improved interior quietness. 
The Tahoe Hybrid uses a two-mode hybrid system to improve gas mileage up to 50 percent in the city over the non-hybrid version, achieving an EPA rating of 21 mpg in the city and 22 on the highway. The system provides electric-only operation at low speed, early fuel cutoff during deceleration and combines electric power with the 6.0-liter V8 engine when needed for acceleration. The Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid comes standard with the OnStar advanced communication system.
