The Traverse is an all-new crossover SUV from Chevrolet with seating for up to eight occupants. Based on the same architecture as the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook, the Traverse incorporates design cues from the Malibu sedan. The Traverse offers the passenger and cargo capacity of larger SUV with better fuel-efficiency due to a 3.6-liter V6 with direct-injection technology and towing capacity of 5,200 lbs. EPA estimates are 17/24 city/highway for the front-wheel drive version and 16/23 city/highway with all-wheel drive. The new Chevrolet Traverse comes standard with the OnStar advanced communication system.
